Listening to Right Now...

Right now I can't get enough podcasts. I love to read, but I spend a lot of time driving to where I need to go. It's a great way to learn, be inspired and enjoy the drive. I also listen to them while I'm working around the house: cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and working out are far more enjoyable when you don't just feel like you're doing a series of mindless tasks.

Here are my favorites right now!

Mosaic: "Erwin Raphael McManus communicates on culture, creativity, change, and leadership and is widely known as a thought-provoking communicator, poet, and wordsmith."

Robcast: Rob Bell adds his voice to the podcast world, and these short theological monologues and longer interviews will challenge you to grow in new ways. I highly recommend it!

The Liturgists: "The Liturgists are a collective of artists and creators who create sacred art and experiences for the spiritually homeless and frustrated." You'll enjoy the conversation between Michael Gungor, Science Mike and whoever they interview. They certainly aren't shy!

On Being: "opens up the animating questions at the center of human life: What does it mean to be human, and how do we want to live? We explore these questions in their richessness and complexity in 21st-century lives and endeavors. We pursue wisdom and moral imagination as much as knowledge; we esteem nuance and poetry as much as fact." If you haven't listened to Krista Tippett and the fascinating people she interviews, give it a go!

The Gently Mad: "a show about life, business & entrepreneurship without the bullshit." I've really enjoyed the people he's interviewed and have just started working through some of his earlier episodes.

Magic Lessons: I listend to this series, and walked away from every episode motivated and inspired to chase my dreams. Elizabeth Gilbert offers advice to creatives and interviews more seasoned people in various disciplines. Take a minute to listen!
